How Do We Build Coalitions?
The latest on convening allies, the Strait of Hormuz, taxes, government growth, and more
Thanks to you, Advancing American Freedom (AAF) stands firm on proven conservative principles: constitutional government, free enterprise, strong national defense, and the dignity of every life. One of the three main parts of our long-term business plan is to be an indispensable movement-builder that convenes a coalition of principled conservatives nationwide.
To that end, the Edwin Meese III Institute for the Rule of Law this week held its Legal Strategy Forum in collaboration with Georgetown University. With your support, they brought together 77 leaders from public interest law organizations to discuss issues such as election integrity, parental rights, and the Constitution.
In addition, many of our colleagues participated in the Freedom Conservatism Conference in Washington, D.C. (pictured above) AAF Vice President of Policy John Shelton and I spoke about the importance of faith, family, and freedom.

Yet pointing out this basic reality sparked outrage from populists who insist it’s somehow illegitimate to ask who pays for government programs — or whether the tradeoffs are worth it.
What is the FDA Hiding on Mifepristone? (Wall Street Journal) — Marc Wheat
The FDA has been sitting on more than 125,000 pages of records tied to the chemical abortion pill’s approval process. These documents could shed light on whether political pressure influenced agency decision-making. Americans deserve transparency!
